Apart from a little trip this weekend, I've been getting legitimately stressed out from staying within the country for so long. Life doesn't seem as exciting when you don't wake up to a limitless number of cultural unknowns. I'll have to read Cahill. Some books you may want to look into are "Down the Nile: Alone in a Fisherman's Skiff" by Mahoney and Florence Nightengale's "Letters from Egypt" as behind her nurse-y exterior she was quite the rugged traveler. I haven't read "Letters" and I've only ready half of "Down the Nile" but it seemed genuine and introspective, yet adventurous enough for the likes of you. <br /><br />...
